BAGHDAD - Anti-American Shiite militia leader Muqtada al-Sadr ordered his followers Saturday to defy government orders to surrender their weapons, as U.S. jets struck Shiite extremists near Basra to bolster a faltering Iraqi offensive against gunmen in the city.
Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki acknowledged he may have miscalculated by failing to foresee the strong backlash that his offensive, which began Tuesday, provoked in areas of Baghdad and other cities where Shiite militias wield power.
That's right, Mr. al-Maliki, you have most assuredly miscalculated. But don't worry, your problems will all be over when the US pulls out, if they don't take you with them. It's my understanding those who love Iraq more than they love US dollars are going to cut you up very slowly, and as you watch, they're going to feed you to dogs piece by piece. You, Mr. al-Maliki, Mr. Bush, Mr. Blair, Mr. Brown, and the armies from around the world can't even come close to controlling Iraqis as one man named Saddam Hussein did on his own. You are the pricks who should have been hung.
Stupid morons in the US and UK who have supported the invasion of Iraq must not have been able to read. That's the only plausible conclusion that those of us who can and do read can make. As a great statesman and US president once said, "If we do not want war indefinitely, we had better leave the Arabs alone."
Think about it; Mr. Osama bin Laden is just fine while 4,316 US and UK troops have been killed, and some 11,754 wounded. Oh, and believe me, Mr. bin Laden is not living in a cave, he's living in style in a very plush place. Do the people who work in the basements of the US and UK governments know this? I would think so since they made the arrangements and are paying the bills.
